Set up desktop shortcut for Profile

Create a desktop shortcut on your Windows PC for quick, one-click access to Profile Cloud.

Creating a desktop shortcut gives you quick access to Profile Cloud from your Windows desktop.

šŸ“Œ Note: You will need valid Cloud credentials before starting.

  1. On the computer, click on the Start Menu (indicated by the Windows Logo).

  2. Type RemoteApp and click RemoteApp and Desktop Connections.

  3. Select Access RemoteApp and Desktops on the left column.

  4. Click Next.

  5. Enter the user's Cloud username and password.

    šŸ“Œ Note: Due to Windows restrictions, do not select Remember my credentials.

  6. Click Finish. The RemoteApp and Desktop Connections will reopen.

  7. Click View resources.

  8. Right-click and copy the Profile icon.

  9. Paste this to the user’s desktop.
