Setting up desktop shortcut for Profile

How to create a desktop shortcut for the cloud version of Profile.

Please follow the below:

  1. On the computer, click on the Start Menu (indicated by the Windows Logo).

  2. Type RemoteApp and click RemoteApp and Desktop Connections.

  3. Set up a new Connection with RemoteApp and Desktop connection.

  4. Enter the following URL https://gw-3.cloud.microdec.com/RDWeb/Feed/Webfeed.aspx.

  5. Click NEXT.

  6. Enter the Users Cloud username and password (Due to windows restrictions - Please do not select Remember my credentials)

  7. Click Finish. The RemoteApp and Desktop Connections will reopen.

  8. Click View resources.

  9. Right-click and copy the Profile icon.

  10. Paste this to the User’s desktop.
