The user will need to use FTPS (file transfer) in order to upload documents from a userโs local machine onto Access Profile.
Follow the below steps to install FTPS on a userโs machine:
Open a Web Broswer, e.g. Google Chrome.
On Dialogue Box โ Accept and select Custom Installation.
Click Next, and click Next again.
Unselect PuTTYgen and Translations.
Click Next.
Select below options:
Enable automatic check for application updates (recommended).
Create a desktop Icon - For current user only.
Add upload shortcut to Explorer's @send to' context menu.
Register to handle URL addresses.
Click Next and select Explorer.
Click Next then click Install.
Click Finish.
FTPS will automatically launch once installation is complete.
Select the File Protocol drop-down list and select FTP.
Select the Encryption drop-down list and select TLS/SSL Explicit Encryption.
Click Login.
In the Host Name field, type your server host name, type your Cloud username and password in the appropriate field (If the user does not know hostname, the System admin will be able to establish this from the Cloud portal Https://cloud.microdec.com).
Click Save.
Type the site name (folder name to display on desktop) and click OK.
Right-click on Profile just created (left side) and select Explorer โ Send to Shortcut.
