The Index: Update reindexes new data that has either been added to or amended in the Profile database since the last time a reindex was run.
The Index: Create completely recreates the Profile indexes.
By default, there are 3 different Index tasks on Profile. There are 2 Updates and 1 Create.
The Update that runs hourly will reindex the _quick indexes.
The Update that runs daily will reindex all indexes.
The Create that runs weekly will recreate the indexes.
📌 Note: Please be aware that the above information is the default setup for a new Profile database. This may differ if your Index scheduled tasks have been specifically configured for your organisation.
