πŸ“Œ Note: This will only occur on On-Premise databases.

This would mean your local client of Profile is unable to connect to the Profile server. You can either ask IT to re-install Profile or follow the below steps to correct your ODBC settings:

  1. Click My Computer (C drive), Windows, Syswow64, odbcad32.exe (Right click and Run as Admin) .

  2. Go to the System DSN tab.

  3. Highlight the profile7 item and then click on Configure....

  4. Go to the Login tab and make sure Action is set to connect to a database running on another machine.

  5. Click the Network tab.

πŸ“Œ Note: Server name should be your Profile Name (Profile Support can help identify this information).

Database name should be the same as the Server name.

DoBroadcast - set to no.
Host - Set to the server name or IP (Again, Profile Support will be able to identify what the Host name is).

If you are on a 32-Bit Machine, you will have to navigate here to find the odbcad32.exe application: Start,Run,odbcad32.exe

If you require any assistance with the above, please raise a new case online with the support team.
