Export to Excel - Nothing appears within the data of the export

This article explains what to do if you have exported a Saved List from Profile but in the final Excel Spreadsheet, no data is there.

This will be due to special characters (for example: & % $ etc) being placed within the mandatory field of the records that you are trying to export and Excel will reject these characters as they are not native to the relevant field or the Communication Method on the candidate record being disabled.

With regards to the Communication Method, try to export the Saved List without filling in the "Communication Type" and "Communication Method" and see if this brings the results into the Spreadsheet. If so, please revisit the candidate's Communication tab on their record.

The recommendation is to click on the column headers within the Saved List to order them by alphabetical order and the special characters (as they do not appear within the alphabet) will appear either at the top or bottom of the list and we recommend to remove theses.
